USANI-250 Ordinary People, Extraordinary History

2026 marks 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the USA. Cullybackey Community Partnership (CCP) is celebrating some of the people that left our community in the 1700s and played a part in events leading to American Independence in 1776.
To tell their stories, CCP has developed an exhibition, published a booklet and will be hosting a series of 3 talks. The talks will take place in the Steve Davis Suite on the top floor of the Maine Business Centre in Cullybackey and will be given by Dr William Roulston from the Ulster Historical Society. The series of 3 talks will be on the 1st, 8th and 22nd of June and will begin at 7.05pm. This is a 3-part series – each evening will be a different talk.
