Cullybackey Community Partnership looks after the community development in the Cullybackey electoral ward of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council area. Our aim is to improve the well-being of the people of Cullybackey and it’s environment.
Cullybackey Community Partnership is an active community group involved in improving the appearance of the village through environmental projects and improving the well-being of the inhabitants through providing them with education and health advice. Much of our work is financed through grants and fundraising. All work is carried out by volunteers.
Since 2012 we have been involved in a pharmacy project where senior member of the community learn about healthy eating, exercise, medication, alternative therapies and personal security.
A quarterly newsletter keeps the community informed about what is happening in the village and surrounding area.
CCP were instrumental in setting up the Cullybackey and District Historical Society- cullybackeyhistory.co.uk
Fund Raising
Thanks to the support of the Mid and East Antrim Council, other funding bodies and the income from the business, funding is available to cover a number of community activities. Fundraising activities include concerts, fireside quizzes and parties.
These help to provide funds to enable the partnership to meet its running costs and to invest in community projects such as environmental improvements, which are a benefit to the community.
The partnership wishes to acknowledge the contribution from funders, support networks and volunteers.
